Radiohead Religion
Seeing Radiohead in concert is a little bit like a religious experience. OK, a lot like a religious experience.
Very, very different than a U2 concert, for instance, which also qualifies as a religious experience, but for different reasons. Bono runs his shows like a big tent revival, all rockstar bombast and theatre. By contrast, with Radiohead, there is plenty of theatre, but they let the ambiance created by their music generate the mood. And a good mood it is!
Thom breaking into one of his dances:
One of the three (including Thom) Radiohead guitar players. Terrible that I only know Thom York’s name…does anyone know who this guy is?

Jonny Greenwood.
These guys are my heroes.
Along with Bono. And Jesus.
And you for finally posting these pix.

That’s actually Ed O’Brien. Jonny Greenwood stands on the other side of the stage (stage left of Mr. Yorke) and spends a lot more of his time near the ground playing with his effects pedals and sometimes a keyboard or xylophone. Ed is just a straight-up guitarist. No, I take that back. He adds some percussion every now and then.
